2nd Annual ‘SLIDING INTO SUMMER’ Surf-Off!

Sean’s Private Surf Instruction will be hosting it’s 2nd Annual ‘SLIDING INTO SUMMER’ Surf-Off! on June 3rd, 2017 at Wrightsville Beach, NC.  This is going to be an absolute blast for participants and spectators alike!  We’ll have a ton of unique and funky surfboards hanging out under the beach canopies at Birmingham Street area.  There are no rules, heats, or guidelines like an ordinary surf contest.  You can take any board you’d like, surf for as long or short as you’d like, and aim for a certain award if you’d like!  ‘Sliding Into Summer’ brings creativity, originality and simply put, fun, back into surf contests.  Don’t miss out!

Our sponsors Electric, No Wave, Surf City Surf Shop and Annex Surf Supply will be giving away prizes for 6 different awards:  Standout Surfer, Best Outfit, Worst Style, Best Backwards Ride, Best Finless Ride, and Best Tandem Ride.

Anyone can participate!  TO SIGN UP:  All you need to do is purchase a ‘NO WAVE’ T-shirt or product (hats, bags, coolers, and more) from Annex Surf Supply, then show up sometime during the ‘Surf-Off” with your No Wave T-shirt/product, sign-in under the tent, grab a board and paddle out for a surf.  We’ll have secret judges as well as people filming and taking photos of all the action.  Tell your friends and family to come join and watch the fun!

SURF-OFF: 7am-12:00pm

BBQ Party: 12:30pm at Annex/Surf City Surf Shop

Awards Ceremony:  5pm at Annex/Surf City Surf Shop
