Wahine Week Surf Clinic (Ages 12-15)
Our Wahine Week Surf Clinic for girls ages 12-15 years old has a capacity of 9 students total, so every student gets personal attention as they learn to surf the waves.
Wrightsville Beach Girls’ Surf Camp
This surf clinic is designed for your wahine, young woman surfer, aged 12 – 15. During this week-long surf camp, your wahine is surfing the majority of the time and learning about sea safety from their instructor. Sometimes Mother Nature won’t be fully cooperative with the surf, so we move to the beach for some fun activities or when the kids need a break off their boards. We bodysurf, learn how to use handplanes, ride surf mats in the shorebreak, and do some light relays to improve the kids’ paddling, swimming, breath-holding ability, and overall safety in the ocean.
This camp is built around personalized, effective, and fun surf instruction that’s tailored to your wahine’s skills. By the end of this surf camp, we want to see them showing us all they’ve learned and demonstrate their know-how of surfing well on their own. Your kids will come out of this camp absolutely stoked on surfing!
